Raksha Bandhan

The festival of Raksha Bandhan not only celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters; it also has a social significance. It underlines the notion that everybody should live in harmony and hence speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India, making our nation extraordinary.

To promote cultural understanding and foster relationships among students, Tilak Global School conducted a Rakhi-making activity for primary and secondary students. Primary and secondary students created beautiful rakhis with craft paper, decorative items, and moldable clay. Pre-primary students, dressed in traditional attire, enthusiastically participated in tying rakhis on the wrists of their classmates. The vibrant, colorful attire and innocent smiles brightened the ambiance of the classrooms.
